The next morning we woke up early (well i did 530 denver time 730 florida time) We were sooo stoked to be in such a beautiful place... we decided to take a hike in the Rocky Mountain National Forest. We did stop at this cute little breakfast joint called "The Egg and I", there i had my first order of French Toast. One word AWESOME!! So it was my great idea to do the 1.6 mile hike (3.2 miles round trip) i was like seriously its nothing. Ha nothing on flat terrian like florida!!!! We were dying we could not breath the air was soooooo thin. After 3 hours we completed it and felt prettty good!!

The Stanley Hotel. Part 1 of our trip

So after the "Burrito incident in Denver" i was stuck driving all the way to Estes park. Its a little town located in at the bottom of the Rocky Mountains. Beautiful cute town. I booked us a room at The Stanley Hotel, where supposely Stephan King got his inspiration for the book "The Shining" When i told alex this he flipped out. I asked him "What if we see those twin girls at the end of the hallway". He freaked! So we get to "The Stanley" check in, unpacked in our room, turn the tv on and guess what was playing "The Shining" i swear i think they play the movie 24 hours a day.

Welcome to Denver 7 lb burrito style!!!

So Alex is obsessed with a television show called Man vs Food. Just recently there was a show featuring Jack n Grill an amazing Mexican restaurant in Denver, Colorado. The host decided to take the 7 lb breakfast burrito challenge. Yes 7 lbs!!! 8 eggs. 1 lb of ham a couple pounds of potatoes and some other goodness. Well as it turns out we had a wedding/anniversary trip planned for Denver for about 10 months and i have not heard alex shut up about how he can totally kill the burrito. Long story short we stopped, and he did not conquer. He tried his hardest and was in a breakfast burrito coma the whole ride to Estes Park. Me on the other had went with something more simple chicken taco and a side of rice. Best Mexican food i have ever had!!!

The "BIG" Daddy

Yes we did it. Went to Sanford Winghouse last night. I asked the wing girl what beer they had on tap and then she asked me if i wanted the "Big" daddy. My reply "Whats a big daddy" Her reply "a 32 oz beer". What! That should be a illegal. Me and tommy ended up going with a pint, but my hubby of course was up for the challenge. This beer im telling you is ridiculous.

Celebrate

We had to bust out the bubbly and drink to the new house.
